IN My Own Plane

IN MY OWN PLANE J. ECKERT

Well I take off in the morning, and I don't come back till night.
I always ride first class and I don't move too fast
cause I know I'm always flying right.

I always get a round trip ticket, a parking space with my name.
A smoking section seats always left for me, every day I know it's the same.

I can fly In my own plane, I can fly in my own plane.

I always get a seat by the window, so I can watch the world go by.
The only turbulence I've found is the life on the ground,
I'm always safe in my own sky.

I don't cause interference , I don't worry about the rain
I feel free to travel where I please because I travel in my own plane.

I can fly In my own plane, I can fly in my own plane.
I can get high, in my own plane.
And I always feel safe…in my own plane.

No need to worry about terrorist, or some misplaced ungreased seal.
No need to worry 'bout some stoned traffic controller
Who calls all the shots as he feels.

I don't care about crashing. I know I'm not going down.
Nobody ever tries to shoot me out of the sky.
I fly too close to the ground.

I can fly In my own plane, I can fly in my own plane.
I can get high, in my own plane.
And I always feel safe…in my own plane.

So If your ever feeling grounded, just take a hold of my hand
We can go flying in this plane of mine.
We'll never have to land.

We can fly In my plane, We can fly in my plane.
We can get high, in my own plane.
And We'll always feel safe…in my plane.
