What does it matter now? I give you what you need
Dissect my tongue, but it won't bleed.
I see but I can't touch, I hear but not your voice.
I live, but they never seem to give me a choice.

Creating an illusion you steal
It doesn't take away what you feel
Sometimes it seems situations like these have been real.

I've stood alone this long. Spoke what I want to hear.
Slept through your love and tasted your fear.
I need, I got, I want. You wake, you laugh, you cry.
We've all become, but you don't understand why.

Locked out of possibilities.
Satisfied without your belief.
Don't walk away from the chance that you take to be.

Why am I incomplete? How come I never knew?
Why am I here, but not with you?
What does it matter now? I gave you what you need.
Dissect my tongue, but it won't bleed.
