Climbing out

Climbing out J.F.X. Eckert

Everybody calls on me when they're lonely
Everybody calls on me when they're stoned.
Everybody wants to paint by the numbers.
It satisfies and cleanses dirty souls.
I'll take what you give and then let it go.

My eyes have been blind they've been open to darkness.
Things so strange I knew I had to grin.
Nothings better than everything without love.
And loves so dark when your empty within.
But don't go and tell that to my friend.

I'm quite amused although a bit confused,
Why do you have to use me for your dream?

You have called on me because your lonely,
You need someone to kick you when your down.
Dangling on the strings of desperation.
You curse my name and blame me for your fall.
I'll take what you give and then let it go
Don't go and tell that to my friend.

This was God talking. Well, not directly to me..I've had some wacked out days in my life, but no...God never talked to me. It's just about people need their God when they need their God. It's not while they are getting stoned and drunk, hell they can do that alone. It's the next day when they wake up hurting, and some strange something in bed with em.... Then it's "Oh God...what did I do"? "Things so strange I knew I had to grin".....I just know that whatever, whoever, if there's a ever...Whatever created this whole mess has to be laughing at us humans a hell of a lot...Just my take on some things.
